there are often deals for excelsior hotel which is 5* where the Venice film fest is held

great hotel on the lido. you get a free private boat to take you into venice every day too.

we found a deal online that made it no more expensive than a normal hotel and its one of the most prestigious places to stay so shop about if you do go.
