Gemma shot a -1 today in a Daily Telegraph Golf Junior Qualifier; last year that would have been good enough to get her on the plane for the free trip to the finals at Quinta do Lago. This year there are a few girls on -1 so we?ll need to wait to see.

The good news is that the course rating is higher than the actual par which should count in her favour for all the girls on the same score.

And her putt missed by a fraction for a birdie on the last as well?
