Last time we were up our top earners were on around ?40k a week I believe. Even mid table teams are now paying ?70-?80K to land the sort of players they are signing.

Not saying we should do that by the way, just that if we are not going to/can't do it then we should be realistic about who we target. I think Mcnally likes to try and pull off the odd transfer coup which is fine if it come off but not if its to the detriment of getting others through the door early enough.
