Yet another farcical situation

How can Sunderland's M'Vila be available to play against us next weekend having been sent off for a deliberate headbutt in Saturday's U-21 game at Norwich? A mandatory 3-match ban applies at U-21 level but not in the Premier League. Ridiculous or what?!
