Steaming, hypocritical bulls**t to be precise

Those type of comments demean and objectify women. Ana Ivanovic is a talented sportsperson - by reducing her to a sexual object, you disrespect her achievements in tennis and create an atmosphere where women in any walk of life are assessed on the basis of their looks (see John Inverdale as a prime example). Worse, they lay the foundations for comments like usacanary's by establishing women as objects who are there to be gawped at.

The suggestion that this is redeemed because they're made in jest is also ridiculous. Would you laugh at a blue comedian who joked about having sex with a woman against her will? Because that's pretty much what you're doing, unless you have some reason to believe Ana Ivanovic would consent to sleep with you.
