Daddy Pig is portrayed as variously, useless at DIY, rubbish at reading maps, forgetful and myopic, but also an accomplished ballet dancer, an accordionist, capable of lighting a camp-fire by rubbing sticks together, a footballer, a world-record-holding athlete, a fun-runner, a successful civil engineer, and a mathematician.
He is also always portrayed as a kind, attentive, loving and devoted father.
Grandpa Pig is portrayed as a rubbish sailor, but also as a good sailor. He's also made fun of as being not quite with it, but that's a function of his advanced age, not his gender.
I can't think of any other male character cast in a bad light. Daddy Fox is a successful and resourceful retailer, Dr Elephant is a qualified and competent optician, Captain Daddy Dog has circumnavigated the world, Granddad Dog is a capable motor mechanic and rescue service operative, Grampy Rabbit has hand-built a submarine, and is a part-time shipwright, Dr Brown Bear is a GP.
I've recently seen every single episode about a dozen times. Your charge doesnt stand up to any scrutiny.
