Two things: a) no he wouldn't. He's gone Torres (only with less ability)

b) he wouldn't have been there.
And that's the main problem with Hooper. He just doesn't get there enough. Plus he misses nearly as many as Grabban - but his finishes are classy, unlike Grabban's frequently bumbling efforts. His fans forget Hooper's awful misses.

Grabban's immensely frustrating but far more effective than Gary.
