The team is in desperate need of a quality CB

Neither Martin nor Bassong are no.1 central defenders. Yet both could be decent paired with a better player. Our fullbacks are decent going foward but lack quality defending skills. Ruddy makes the basic saves but only occasionally pulls off stellar ones. His play would improve with a quality man in front of him. Put the money in the center of the back line. It would instantly improve about 4 other spots around him.
