He got double teamed once they figured out every Ruddy kick goes to BJ

One Palace player jumped for the ball, the other just took out BJ - happened three or four times second half and ref (typically) did nothing - we didn't learn though, just kept trying the same thing every goal kick - we need to be a bit smarter - they picked up on a few things like that and adapted as the game went on - we need players that think on their feet and can change it up without having to wait for AN to tell them what to do.

I wasn't overly concerned today but was a bit frustrating

- Ref issues are nothing new but were disappointing, especially letting Murray get away with everything but if he was on our team, we would probably have felt he played well (poor challenge aside) - he was a real nuisance
- Sat in the River end corner, we seemed to play well first 20 minutes or so and LG should have scored, especially the second chance that hit the outside of the post
- Our end was still celebrating for ages after Cam's goal - we were all convinced we'd equalised and were really puzzled what was wrong
- Seemed Brady was definitely hanging back today - seemed to me to be on orders to not get caught out too much by their pace - seemed to me he played well again though

- Our biggest problem seemed to be breaking through their back four - Palace defended well and hit us on the break. Puncheon was able to hold onto the ball very well, he just seemed to shrug off our tackles A LOT. And he was more focused on winding up the crowd than anything else after Cabaye's goal.
