For all the big talk the lineup selection reeked of fear

Based on what I've seen the past few years the only two players we have who will trouble Prem defenders are Jerome and Redmond. To start neither was mindblowingly negative - I couldn't see anyone in the starting lineup scoring a goal. All those neat but harmless midfielders was ridiculous and preferring Grabban to Jerome inexplicable - how quickly he seems to have forgotten the Playoff final.
