(But as you say let them write us off) is that Wilson and Deeney are hyped up and considered likely to succeed whereas Jerome (who was the equal of either of them last season) is written off.
I actually don't mind if we don't buy a new striker. A decent motivational manager should be able to have Jerome really fired up and he's a handful for anyone when he is.
Also another pundit trotting out the "this lot weren't good enough in 2013-2014" line whilst ignoring the two years previously and the Hughton effect.
