We do know he has detailed reports on the opposition even down to the pen takers

We have seen how he can take a defeat and learn from it.

We have seen a team go from defensively clueless to pretty solid (the best in the league in fact)

We have seen when he makes a mistake like playing Johnson and Whittaker in DM/HM roles he doesn't do it again. Hughton continued to play Johnson in that role when Tettey was out even though Johnson was completely s**te at it.

We have seen improved performances from pretty every player in the squad.

I know who the better manager is already.
