Seems to me AN wants to set up for a lone striker. I think Wickam COULD be excellent. Has all the attributes. BUT... Here's what I've heard from someone well connected to Ipswich (I had the good fortune to watch the 1-5 in a box surrounded by binners). One of those present told me this: the day he signed an improved deal (if I remember correctly) at Ipswich, he, his mum and dad went out and got totally munted (at the club's expense) to such an extent that all three had to be driven home and shoved through their own front doorway. He is a liability in term of his own fitness and well- being Is basically what I was told. Could be BS of course but would explain his lack of consistency.
