I think it was great for us from any number of perspectives

Good workout for the guys that played the full 90, and we consolidated our views on Toffolo (much better than I'd realised, perhaps that's only me though) and Vadis (still rusty but looks like there's a good player to come there). We need a CB but we knew that anyway. Tend to think that with Toffolo, Olsson, Brady and Nagathingy we'd have four good'uns competing for two starting places on the left which would be great. EB at RB I'd love to see work out - him and Redz on that side would be brillopads. We have an embarrassment of riches in the middle of midfield; CB and up top are where we still need to strengthen.

Somehow this preseason seems a lot more valuable than usual. Maybe it's the skrillex effect, I don't know.
