I'm tempted to just build what I want (subject to planning approval) and ignore this covenant bollocks. I bet everyone else down the street has, they've split plots, built entirely new houses and done allsorts of extensions. I cannot see how some great great grandson of the original vendor will give a s**t about my new kitchen/diner and boathouse.

Oh and Chancel insurance can get to f**k as well. ?60 to be covered in case the church fell down. Joke.
