I'd take him

He is undoubted quality - we have just the type of team ethic to get something out of him - he can still feel special (which he seems to need) and he'd be adored in the region if he started hitting the net. It would be a gamble for sure, but one that would be worth taking if he meets SAN and they both like what they see.
