Reckon AN would have preferred to have him signed two weeks earlier though

Managers often talk about the importance of getting players in early to take as fuller part in pre-season as possible.

Seems like Hull were always going to sell at ?7m so not sure why we didn't just offer that earlier if we were happy to pay it ultimately.
