Whilst my bed remains as arid as a Ryvita I do feel that we need a few additions

and probably the odd departure.

None of Whits, Martin and E Bennett offer what we will require at full back and on the left we are looking at Toffolo as cover to move up two leagues when, whilst he was OK at Swindon, he was hardly Terry Cooper last season.

We will probably need to get rid of Turner before we buy the quick, tall centre half we need and whilst Redders came good last year he was actually pretty frustrating for most of the season and it is likely that either Murphy or Thompson will take as long to adapt given the leap up to the Prem will be massive.

Midfield seems pretty full although I would like to see a Wes replacement if there's someone out there we can afford. Hooper always looks good at the link up play but doesn't have the Wes energy or constant availability to take the next pass.

Up front I assume Lafferty and Ricky will definitely be off before or as soon as we sign somebody else. Hopper may also be off given his lack of playing time last season and his inability to perform the single striker role as required by AN, unless he shows that he can play deeper and still score a few.
