?14 million for Jordan Rhodes!!!!!!

The Sun reporting that Borough are going to offer Blackburn ?9 million plus extra's amounting to a whopping ?14 million for Rhodes who scored what 15 goals last season?
This is absolutely crazy and is very damaging for the game in my opinion as it will set a bench mark for other players. Just like the ludicrous ?11million that Fulham paid for Ross McCormack last season. Lets say a club wants to buy Hooper. If Rhodes goes for that fee then McNally will say well if Rhodes is worth ?14 million then Hooper is worth so and so. Chairman and managers everywhere will be saying the same things.
