Have we been linked with a striker that has a better Premier League record?

This is an actual question, not a dig...I'm curious. Gayle doesn't strike me as the answer and a lot of the others we were linked to are new to the Premier League. Lambert at least has a track record - he can definitely still do a job but like many others I doubt he would move so far if there are nearby(ish) options with similar first team options (WBA). WBA may suit Lambert in terms of big man up top anyway.
