Built my own poly roof'd conservatory....

Supposed to be the latest multi-layer thermal protected heat reflecting poly - was ok, but only the early part of the year before the high sun hit the conservatory...... June to aug was a t**t!

Is you kitchen south facing? If it gets any decent hit off the sun in the year it will be baking! The hotter in the summer it gets its equally as cold in the winter....

Try to go proper roof with keylite roof windows if poss..... Worth doing a proper job (will require planning permission in writing though).
