I wonder whether the fact that expectations are lower now will help him? It must be very tough to come to a club like Norwich as our first eight-figure signing and not feel under ridiculous pressure. Obvs Hoots' system didn't favour him either, but when your mug is plastered over half of the club's social media posts and everyone talks about you as if you're single-handedly going to drag the club out of the mire, it must be 10 times more difficult. Perhaps the fact that fans will now be pleasantly surprised rather than expectant will help?
