What I say is, if you want the chance to get 95 days holiday a year, 'teacher gifts' and to play Mousetrap or scrabble at work, you just need to train to be a teacher. Easy!

I heard Jeremy Paxman interview a teacher once and he commented on how few hours teachers worked. I thought, cheeky thing! Newsnight was less than an hour long and University Challenge only 30 mins.
