that's Sky's argument. Marginal Gains etc.
But it's true that it hasn't always meant this in the past - Armstrong and his team, for example, systematically took more and better drugs than other teams, and so wiped the floor with everyone else at race after race. That's what some people are remembering when they see Sky dominate a stage like they did yesterday. (But I would say that yesterday's stage could have been designed for Sky to do that. You won#t see anything like it today, for example, or on future mountain stages where they are lots of irregular climbs. Whereas yesterday was just one long drag up - perfect for Sky.)
