Don't think so, glass bottles are definitely more carbonated though

Surprised they haven't brought back returnable glass bottles in the UK. Surely it's more environmentally friendly than PET

PET bottles are semi-porous for CO2 - that would explain that.

easier to recycle plastic than glass but not sure about virgin productions
