for people's advice/opinion on here, I know what I'm likely to get lol.
A few weeks back I asked if people thought I should declare dependants and maintenance on a mortgage application, when my children only spend 2 or 3 nights a week with me. I'd had conflicting advice from 2 mortgage advisors. Someone, I can't remember who, took it as an opportunity to say "IT sounds like you can't afford a mortgage", when it was just a question.
Since then I've been to three different banks, all of whom were very positive, agreed I only need to list maintenance and not dependents, and have an agreement in principle for a mortgage for far more than I will actually need to borrowin the end.
Some people just like to be negative, or try and make people feel down.
Such is life eh?
