there was a good article somewhere recently pointing out that over the last couple of years he's pretty much matched (possibly surpassed) Anderson wicket for wicket. but all that has been overlooked slightly as Anderson became the leading english wicket taker and went past 400 in tests etc.
but broad is close to 300 himself now and is almost 4 years younger - it's not impossible that he could surpass jimmy one day. deserves more credit really, he's going to be a legend in his own way
