15 million was the price quoted for Brady initially.

If we get him for 5 million then it's excellent business. Remember that they're saving NCFC money, not their own, and so ultimately ours. Based on last year, Brady may well start as a sub so we really have the bargaining power.
Bartering is the norm in the Middle East and, even having lived here for a while, the initial ridiculously low offer that needs to be made makes me cringe. HOWEVER, I know that by doing it you get a better deal than starting higher. I would be mortified if my initial offers were ever published so I can see what Steve Bruce is doing. I have no doubt that our negotiators know exactly what they're doing so I'm chillin'
