I've got it

I can't install a dish on my property either and no Virgin cable in my road. BT is fine - no issues with internet, TV is fine.

Added bonus of BT Sport for free, unless you want HD, in which case you pay a few quid a month (?4 a month from August). I have a 60 inch telly and the sport channels are good enough quality to watch without paying for the HD, in my opinion.

I like the BT box - find it very easy to use and I can record a couple of shows while watching a third. I guess they probably all do that these days. I have a telly I brought over from Japan, so didn't have a freeview tuner, so needed a box with a freeview tuner built in, so this was a no brainer for me, even though I pay about a fiver a month for the box.

The box has all the apps on it too, iPlayer, NOWTV, SkyPlayer, NETFLIX, etc.

Really can't fault the service, aside from them failing to show up for the first activation appointment, which was a real ballache (openreach's fault apparently), but since then, it's been fine.

I have 2 kids who are constantly on YouTube watching cartoons and minecraft videos while at least 2 PCs and 2 phones are connected over Wi-Fi, plus the TV, and I've never really seen much issue with speed.
