Make an offer for the garages 'test drive' car.....

My missus wanted the new kia sportage 3-4 years ago when the current shape first came out..... Our local dealer had one in the colour she wanted as their demo car...... We test drove it and liked it - it had 36miles on the clock.... We saved ?3k off the list price plus had loads of extras thrown in including a years insurance and tax plus 3 years of servicing (reckon these three alone would have cost nearly a grand) - only stipulation was we had to wait two months to take it away to get around an odd law, the garage had to own it 4 months to be able tosell it 'second hand' officially. Of course as soon as we struck the deal they locked it away undercover and so no else could drive it.... 3 years later she still loves it....
