brilliant... I went to Grimsby 3 - Ipswich 0 when I was living in Hull

Brilliant night. I was in a lecture (something like Company Law) reading the paper, and saw the fixture. Texted some mates and they all agreed to go, so there were 4 of us on the front row right behind the goal shouting abuse at Andy Marshall for 45 minutes. He must have been very confused as to why 4 people were chanting Judas at him.

Also managed to shout "scum" right in Jamie Clapham's face.

The best bit was when the 3rd goal went in, Marshall was picking it out of the net and we ran forward and waved my Norwich scarf in his face, shouting w**ker etc (the stewards seemed to think that this was hilarious!).

Marshall's response was a very loud, high-pitched "Fuck off". Needless to say, the Grimbo fans didn't like this and about 50 came running down to the front to let him know.

For the rest of the game it was pretty much non-stop "Andy Marshall, what a w**ker, what a w**ker".

Brilliant. And all for only ?9.

Burley was sacked the next day too.
