om his goal (when ALL his team mates are down the other end) in order to push and hold a massive red button mounted on a plinth in the opposition dugout, with the risk that if he is caught out, the other team can break and shoot at an empty goal.

You could have a klaxon and strobes and everything. The septics would love it right off.
