Breaking News: There's more police resource required for home games.

A significant concentration of police resource around a concentrated area. That kind of manpower wouldn't be deployed at any other time because there wouldn't be significant numbers of public to police.

It's not unreasonable for the club therefore, to have to contribute towards the increased manpower required on match days.
