To be fair to Jerome when at Stoke their fans quite rated him and thought he was underused

He seemed to be earmarked by Pulis as an impact sub rather than a starter so never really got a run as the main man up front.

I am keener to see us sign a centre back, right back and left winger than a striker as I would prefer to see Jerome, Grabban and Hooper given a chance to show they can lead the line, especially if we are going to play one up front regularly again.
