There's plenty of Liverpool news around today. Brendan Rodgers has been linked with moves for Jordan Ayew, Theo Walcott and Joe Gomez while Martio Balotelli could be heading back to Italy.

Rivals Manchester United are reportedly in for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic as well as Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel, who is also a Chelsea target.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are closing in on a deal for Petr Cech - but face competition from PSG - and could also reignite their interest in Julian Draxler.

McClean nears Baggies switch

James McClean looks set to join West Brom after the Baggies agreed a fee with Wigan.
The Irishman will become Tony Pulis? first summer signing after a ?1.5million transfer fee was accepted.
McClean, 26, has scored 10 times since joining from Sunderland in 2013, and will join up with former Wigan man Callum McManaman after the winger secured a January switch to the Hawthorns.
The Latics are bracing themselves for life in League One after being relegated from the Championship last season.

Norwich eyeing Chesterfield midfielder

Norwich are lining up a ?1.5million bid for Chesterfield midfielder Sam Clucas.

The 24-year-old is also attracting the attention of Wigan Athletic, who have tabled a deal worth around ?1m.

Clucas scored 12 times in 55 games for Chesterfield last season as the Spireites lost in the League One play-off final.

He came through the ranks at Lincoln before spells at Hereford and Mansfield.
