That's the point really. i am sure he has something in his contract about not doing things in his spare time to recklessly endanger his health (as well as probably not bring the rep of the club into disrepute) and that's what i guess Villa and/or Villa fans will be concerned about here. They probably have all sorts of extreme sports and activities they are not able to do for the same reason.

i don;t think anyone cares about his behaviour for the reasons you cite. Its more the fact he's an asset and could damage himself, his career and the clubs reputation. He seems like the sort of character who could get himself into bother and waste his talent unless someone gives him a bit of tough love!
