Definite spoilers

Stannis: doomed in show and books though differently. Suspect Mel burns Shireen at the wall in the next book. I'd love to think she does this to resurrect Azor Azhai and wants Stannis to come back but Jon does. But this is probably not what happened. We didn't actually see Stannis die so it's possible he comes back in the show.

Jon Snow: he died in the book too though differently and in a way that he could definitely return. In the show Mel could resurrect him. In the books maybe a different route maybe not. Or maybe he's just dead because although he was always right strategically he was never concerned with the people around him (cf Ned, Robb etc)

Mel: clearly a lot to her in the books. Less so in the shows. No spoilers a bout rubies (for example) but the show has not at all accentuated aspects the books do.

Sansa/Theon jump, like, eight feet away from where Myranda fell to her obvious death. I'd be stunned if both don't survive however. Prob link with Brienne and Pod and go after Rickon next season

Dorne: f**king car crash. I love the show really I do. But the whole thing was f**ked up. The prince is a deeply brilliant character in the books. In the show he's a weak shadow. Sand snakes were beyond parody (bad pussy...what is this a Rammstein lyric?!) and for me could have been cut entirely without loss.

Myrcella: obvs for the chop but given manner why wouldn't Jaime just turn ship round and confront Doran who would have Ellaria killed? Arianne from the books has been cut entirely and that seems a very bad decision indeed.

Mereen: very diff from the books but I like both versions. Only thing that sticks in the craw is the idea of Danys ring as a breadcrumb. Apart from that I loved the Drogon scenes last week and this.

Walk of shame. How brilliant was Lena Headley? Got every nuance of every part of that sequence. Superbly done. She's still f**ked mind...

Arya. I could watch ten seasons per episode just of Arya. Different in books and show brilliant in both.

What did I miss? A bit Ghost Shipped...
