I was waiting for him to have a pop at us for holding him back but he didn't quite go there.
Despite that he's right. Wes is a symptom of the fear that runs throughout our football. When "don't lose" comes above "win" a player who is as likely to do something that might contribute to you losing as he is winning is always going to be marginalised.
Which is why Tom Cleverly and his ilk go for millions and are cherished.
