You say only 10 countries play cricket and 'the whole planet' plays tennis. I think you'll find that cricket is widely played, but only to a high level by 10 or so countries. Tennis is widely played, but I suspect the top players come from 10 or so countries. So at the top level it's probably fairly equal in terms of national representation. I would also imagine that if you look at participation (India for example), there are more people playing cricket than tennis. Unless there are not.
