Yeah that can definitely work too

Good friend and sometime running partner of mine likes that stuff and she does more or less exactly what you said - plots out a bpm profile and does a mix to hit her training plan. I'm not as organised as that - it would take me longer to set that up then do the run and house music isn't really my jam anyway though I can exercise to it for a while.
