They will probably be fine from a financial perspective but I think

from a continuity/spirit and building a team perspective its a very risky strategy. As we have seen in the last few season, the teams that have been most successful in terms of staying up have kept together the core of the team that got them there and supplemented it with a bit of quality here and there. I'm thinking us (initially), Swansea, Southampton, Palace and West Ham here. Its really over 2 or 3 years that these teams have evolved their squads to what they see as "the next level." With us, this is where things went wrong but the others have managed better.

Burnley failed because they couldn't/didn't add the quality.

QPR on the other hand make a huge pigs ear of it every time they go up and basically start from scratch and it costs them every time.

I've seen Watford fans saying they are likely to bring in 10 new first teamers this summer. That's a big risk.
