I'd love it too, but can't see it happening either

He's not really suited to our style of play. He needs quality ball in to feet or right on his forehead in the right areas; he's not physically strong and doesn't work the channels. He wouldn't have scored the goals Cam did in the semis or the finals. Bang on form he *might* have got a couple of the sitters we missed. But honestly I think he's gone. St Etienne need to decide what's happening with Max Gradel; the best outcome is probably that Gradel moves, RVW stays at St Etienne for something like ?3m or so.

As I've said before we paid a hell of a lot for him by our standards, not very much at all by Prem standards. Prem strikers at that money usually don't make the grade, and we need to do what Newcastle did with Ba and find a diamond in the dust.

I wouldn't write off Grabbs, Cam or even Hoops in the Prem but I do think we need at least one more striker to bring something different and I don't think that's RVW, much as I'd love it to be.
