Yes. Not being able to see things far away very well was the trigger.

Was about 18. Put the glasses on and I was all "huh, turns out the tops of trees aren't just indistinct green blurs, they have actual leaves up there as well as the bottom." Never looked back since.

I take them off indoors mainly, because I can see just about perfectly over short distances.
