My home made Lancashire Hotpot: an update...

...as some of you may remember, I cooked my hotpot on Toosdee night and felt that it wasn't as great as perhaps it could be...to try and retrieve the situation I added some extra seasoning (mixed herbs, a bouquet garni thing and some more salt and pepper) after I had eaten a bowl full and then left it to marinate away as it cooled down...so anyway, last night I reheated the bad boy and it tasted f**king brill, loads better than the night before, and the gravy/saucy wotsit thing had thickened up beautifully and tasted just right...I was well pleased...

From now on when I cook stew type things, I'm gonna cook 'em the night before I need them...nice...
