You can't really blame a 33-year-old player with 100 caps for wanting to leave a relegated club where he's been largely ignored with a World Cup coming up - like you say, no surprise.

Letting Edworthy (and Crow, it seems) go was preposterous, though - the man had been a central part of a title-winning defence at this level and been a passable (if very limited) full-back in the top flight. Louis-Jean!
