We should bite their hands off and do the following:

1) Pay Crewe their sell on chunk whatever it may well be

2) Use 1m (Partly made up of our remaining transfer budget for the season partly made up of the Ashton cash) to pay off Worthy and the coaching staff and get a new gaffer and his own men.

3) Give the remaining cash (I would estimate at least 6m) to the new gaffer to build his own side to challenge for promotion (Meaning getting him to sign a right winger a centre midfielder and a new striker!).

But if the alternative is to take the money and let Worthy spend it then Heaven help us, his record in the transfer market in the past 2 seasons makes Carlton Palmers managerial record look like Fergies.
