doesn't resonate with how the club is operated these days though

i thought the mick e mouse days were long gone? there must be a qualified finance pens or two in the club who could have worked out the best way to maximise revenue and then a balance carried out on that against rewarding loyalty and creating future growth, or do they really just operate off the cuff? ha ha that's proper funny.
