Y1: regulation from the Prem, Proper Cup Run, reaching at least one final

Y2: top two chumps, give the kids a run in the cup, probably never get very far

Rinse. Repeat.

Of course it can never be like that. But from a selfish fan's perspective, football would be a lot of fun every year if it was.
