agree - spotting a dive is VERY difficult

even when a player goes down when there's no contact it doesn't mean its a dive. They could have slipped, lost their footing/balance etc. Its very rare you can be certain a player has deliberately gone down. Bans for players caught by camera would be a start though (Ashley Cole against Man U at Highbury springs to mind, or Deco in pretty much every game)
