In both legs Redmond has been superb once he's moved away from the right wing and been given a free role for the last half an hour or so. At Portman Road his game improved. I wonder if its worth letting him play that way in the final but I guess Neil will start him on the wing and change it if he has to, mainly to keep the Boro full backs occupied.
Admittedly he was a bit disappointing when on the wing in both games but he often struggles if its clear from early on that he doesn't have the beating of his opponent for pace as was the case with Mings.
The good thing is also that our main confidence players (e.g. him and Jerome) are going into the final off the back of good games.
